For the first time, Europe's largest solar manufacturers, including Meyer Burger, are jointly addressing the European Commission in a letter. They call for support in rebuilding the European solar industry and domestic supply chains. The model is the European Chips Act. The companies point to the strategic importance of the solar industry in building a resilient European energy supply. Currently, Europeans are dependent on imported Asian solar modules for the energy transition.
