Coming home: Renaissance of the European solar industry? A roundtable discussion at the Swiss Embassy

The Embassy of Switzerland together with the Swiss solar company Meyer Burger and the "Renewable Energy Management" program of the University of St. Gallen has the pleasure to invite to a round table discussion in Berlin.

The focus will be on solar energy and supply chains , with a special emphasis on the industrial policy component and the comeback of photovoltaic production in Europe.

Renewable energies and their expansion have continued to gain massive importance in recent months. Not only sharply rising electricity prices, but also the effects of global warming and the war in Ukraine are causing a change in awareness. Fast and at the same time sustainable solutions in terms of energy security and climate neutrality are in demand. We want to talk about this in a specialist panel at lunchtime.

Date: Friday, September 2nd, 2022, 11:15 a.m.– 1:30 p.m.
Place: Residency of the Swiss Embassy, Otto-von-Bismarck-Allee 4, 10557 Berlin (entrance Altbau)
