Module testing

Module inspection systems test the performance of solar modules. The modules are also tested for quality defects. Measurement technologies are indispensable for the manufacture of solar products.

Module testing process

Once the solar cells have been built into modules in a series of individual processes, every single solar module is inspected and tested for performance, hipot and electroluminescence. The module test is conducted using LED lighting technology.

Finally, the solar modules are sorted according to performance class. Precise performance measurement of the finished modules is therefore important.

Our module testing system

The module test systems are suitable for conventional crystalline silicon-based modules as well as for heterojunction modules. In addition, they can also test bifacial solar modules. The inspection systems deliver A+A+A+ measurement results (TÜV-certified).

All Meyer Burger module test systems can be integrated in the solar module production line.
